I ran across this at a site called jesterr.com which is no longer there.

http://members.aol.com/zzyzzwicky2/jh.jpg

It is obviously a drawing as you can see and it's possible no such harness has ever been made. It is not impossible though. If I knew how to work with leather I'd make it myself.

All the full male body harnesses I see seem to have a cock ring, which I don't want. I want the two seperate crotch straps as depicted. I also don't need color, leather color would be fine.

Heavy duty leather and locking roller buckles are a must. I want to be able to make it so tight it's hard (or impossible) to take a deep breath. Even that tight it should be as comfy as possible, so the straps need to be wide.

All buckles and therefore locks should be in the front, for one so that someone could don it unassisted, and almost more importantly so they can look and see the locks to drive the point home that they cannot escape. Need I mention that it need to be inescapable ?, yes, to me it's not bondage if you can get out of it.

I can see lots of possibilities with this harness. They show it with the crotch straps crossed, but that is not how I would put it on (me or someone else). Got to have the genitals uncovered, at least by the harness itself. In that mode it is compatible with an MCD or such.

Also, there is rubber that looks and feels like leather, that would make it waterproof. This would be a big feature IMO.

A penny for your thoughts (with inflation that's 26 cents).

Even someone with rudimentary leathercrafting skills should be able to make this for you in a very short time. The most complicated part of the design would be getting the measurements right.

Question is though, why doesn't somebody actually make it ?

Perhaps someone does. I've seen similar harnesses for sale before.

I've been to sub shop, XR, meo, just about all of them. None of them make a harness that intricate, unless the intricacy is for looks. Also almost all the male full body harnesses seems to have a cock ring. I don't want that.

I might just have to learn to work with leather.

Now you're going to know I am crazy, but rubber won't do. One thing I want to try is putting it on someone tight after soaking it in water. As it shrinks, well, it's obvious what will happen. This is like breath control without intefering with the airway. It's also about restraint. Though I'm sure it will be short term, it should be no more dangerous than a tight laced corset.

Anyway, thanks to all so far. I think I'll head over to Sartran's later and just look at the tools and materials section. It's called something else but the same people run it and they have a link on the main page. I'd have to see what it costs, they have the puches, presses, cutting implements, pretty much everything. Only thing I didn't see was a sewing machine. I don't mind, I think I'd rather use rivets anyway.

Leather color? This varies depending on the tanning method. Also remember, leather dye offers some protection to the leather itself.

The leather will stretch unless the person is completly still. In addition, the type of leather, tanning and dye finish needs to be considered before trying this method.

With all those buckles why would you want to soak it in water? Continuous soaking will weaken the fibers of the leather.

Sartan's Workshop is an interesting site and has some great patterns but his pricing mark-up on tools, hardware and leather is outrageous. (Example: A mini-punch set from Sartan's is $8.79. Same set from Leather Factory is $4.99)

Also consider how much are you willing to pay for someone to make the harness for you vs cost of materials, hardware, tools and 'mistakes' if you do it yourself. Do you know what size rivets to use for maximum durability? Can you bevel and burnish the edges to make it smooth? Have you ever tried to cut leather that thick?

that wouldnt be hard to make, as long as you knew the measurements, and cna have a "victim" to measure and try it out on. i accualy talked to the person who has that on there site, and hes always wanted to make one and never did. i think its a great idea, and soon ill be making something SIMULAR to it. i wanna make a full body chastity device basicly, that would have certain locking points and cover the breasts and the vaginal area. plus make it adjustable and it be bearly impossible to get off. ive sene on stockroom.com full body harnesses simular to this but not the same thing. ive made my own chastity belt, now, i think ill tackle this sometime soon.

Sure, easy to make as people have said--Centurion makes several like it, but they are pricey--You need to custom fit it as well, so I'm guessing it's better to have someone who does a lot of leather work to measure and fit it--There's a local guy in Mt Vernon, WA that does great work--Contact me if you're interested.
