i have been swamped recently with messages for information about DID/MPD, and although i am not an expert about this topic, i feel that i do have information that may be able to help others... or at least explain about this topic....

which one of the message board categories would be appropriate for this?

That's fine....just be aware that it stands a good chance of being moved to Health and Safety. The General Discussion board is for topics relating to BDSM, not to mental health issues.
